BOOK DONATIONS

  We greatly welcome book donations, as they are the key ingredient in our mission. Without these quality stories, children in crisis would not have the opportunity to experience a joyful moment through engaging language and illustrations.

 

  We are constantly looking for book donations due to the fact that after the reading, we gift the text to the child for them to reflect on how they felt when they read it.

  Here are a few guidelines for book donations:

• Research age and interest-appropriate book titles. Scholastic Book Clubs are a great source  of inexpensive, quality literature.

• Donated books must be NEW. Many of the children in the hospital are very ill and cannot be exposed to dust or mold spores that can be inadvertently carried in with used books. 

• Check with Vonda Dahl for current needs. Book needs often vary. Please ask if there are any specific needs as the time.

• We will be more than happy to personally thank your group, if possible.

• As of now, local donations can be dropped off at the Volunteer Services office of the Bismarck Sanford hospital located in the 7th and Rosser clinic.
